Box Score Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs wrapped up the best regular season in program history Monday night with an emphatic 7-0 victory against Coker University in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action at Graham Gill Field. Wingate improves to 12-5 overall and 10-4 in the SAC, while the Cobras fall to 2-11 overall and 1-11 in league play.

FIRST QUARTER
- Wingate got on the board 10 minutes into the contest
- Montgomery got the scoring started off a Robinson assist to make it 1-0
SECOND QUARTER
- The 'Dogs struck again five minutes into the second frame
- George's first goal of the season came off Szymborski's assist
- The Bulldogs took a three-goal lead with under two minutes left in the half
- George's second goal of the quarter put the 'Dogs on top 3-0
THIRD QUARTER
- Wingate took a 4-0 advantage eight minutes into the second half
- Schrijvers found the back of the net off a Steyn assist
- Schrijvers struck again less than three minutes later to make it 5-0
- The 'Dogs added to their lead a minute later, with Steyn scoring off Naylor's assist
FOURTH QUARTER
- Cordrey capped the scoring for the Bulldogs in the fourth quarter
- Her 11th goal of the season came three minutes into the final frame, making it 7-0
