Wingate, N.C.----The 17th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs scored twice in the first five minutes of the second half Wednesday night, erasing a 1-0 deficit en route to a 2-1 victory over Mars Hill University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action at Pride Park. The Bulldogs improve to 5-2-1 overall and 3-2 in the SAC, while the Lions fall to 4-2-1 overall and 1-2 in league play.

- Santos netted his first goal of the year to tie it at one
- The 'Dogs took the lead just over one minute later
- A foul in the box earned a penalty kick for the Bulldogs
- Pozos converted the PK to put the 'Dogs on top 2-1
- Fifth goal of the year for the reigning SAC Freshman of the Year
- Mars Hill did not go quietly over the final 40 minutes, putting five shots on frame
- Conrad was up to the task, saving all five shots
- His final save came with just over two minutes left, a shot from eight yards out that he turned away
