Bulldogs ride huge second half to 6-0 victory over Wasps

Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs scored six times in the second half Saturday afternoon, rolling to a 6-0 victory over Emory & Henry University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action at Pride Park. Wingate 6-6-1 overall and 4-6 in the SAC, while the Wasps fall to 0-13-1 overall and 0-10 in league play.

- Wingate wasted no time getting on the board in the second half
- Mafela scored off a Panagiotou in the 47th minute to make it 1-0
- Filipe made it a two-goal lead in the 60th minute, scoring off a Gunnar assist
- Santos scored off another Gunnar assist just seven minutes later to make it 3-0
- McGonigle scored in the 69th minute to put the 'Dogs on top by four
- Pozos got on the board just a minute later to make it 5-0
- Pozos capped the scoring in the 89th minute, making the final margin 6-0
