Harrogate, Tenn.----The Wingate University Bulldogs won their fifth straight game overall and seventh straight league game Saturday afternoon, prevailing 62-58 at Lincoln Memorial University in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. The Bulldogs improve to 8-4 overall and 7-1 in the SAC, while the Railsplitters fall to 4-7 overall and 3-5 in league play.

- Matty Tanner's three gave LMU a 15-13 advantage heading to the second
SECOND QUARTER
- An Alexa Smiddy three gave the Railsplitters a 22-17 advantage
- The 'Dogs scored the next eight, getting buckets from Baraldi, Anderson, Beale and Oliver to take a three-point lead
- A Keira Anderson layup at the 2:14 mark put LMU back on top 27-25
THIRD QUARTER
- Two Beale buckets and a Massey jumper gave Wingate a 31-29 lead two minutes into the half
- A Jamyah Winter triple at the midway point gave the Railsplitters a 37-33 advantage

Bri Hughes free throws tied it at 39
- Anderson's bucket in the final seconds put the 'Dogs on top 41-39 heading to the fourth
FOURTH QUARTER
- Two Anderson buckets and a Baraldi jumper gave Wingate a 49-43 lead at the 7:27 mark
- Caroline Sikkink's jumper with 4:50 to go pulled LMU within three
- Buckets from Baraldi and Oliver, along with two Baraldi free throws gave WU a 57-48 advantage
- Winter's triple with two minutes left cut the lead to four
- Oliver's three-point play in the final minute gave the Bulldogs a 60-53 advantage
