Hickory, N.C.----The Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears erased a 20-point second-half deficit Wednesday night, prevailing 67-64 in overtime against Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. The Bears improve to 21-7 overall and 16-4 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 18-9 overall and 13-6 in league play.

- Breedlove's layup with 3:10 to go gave the 'Dogs a 32-12 advantage
- A Blaikley Crooks three-point play with 1:16 to go made it 34-18 heading to halftime

THIRD QUARTER

- Buckets from Beale and Breedlove pushed the lead back to 20 at the 8:14 mark
- LR scored the next 10, making it 38-28 on a Jalen Gathers layup with 4:42 remaining

- Hege cut the lead to three with two free throws, but a Crooks free throw made it 66-62 with 47 seconds to go
- Breedlove's jumper with 23 seconds remaining cut the lead to two
- Crooks pushed the lead to three with six seconds left
- Hege's three at the buzzer was off the mark, giving the Bears the win
