Wingate, N.C.----The 10th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs rolled past Belmont Abbey in the season opener, prevailing 7-0 in NCAA Division II tennis action Monday afternoon. The Bulldogs start the season 1-0, while the Crusaders fall to 3-2 on the year.

DOUBLES

- Eva Siska teamed with Suzuka Sambyakugari for a 6-3 win at one doubles
- Daniela Kotara and Chloe Kosmrlj prevailed 6-4 at two doubles
- Annika Hakovirta and Claudia Vallejos won 6-3 at three doubles
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Siska cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win at one singles
- Kosmrlj rolled to a 6-2, 6-0 victory at two singles
- Sambyakugari won 6-2, 6-2 at three singles
- Fernanda Castillo picked up a 6-4, 7-6 victory at four singles
- Vallejos cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win at five singles
- Kotara prevailed 6-2, 6-4 at six singles
