Wingate, N.C.----The fourth-ranked Columbus State University Cougars held off #47 Wingate University 4-3 in NCAA Division II men's tennis action Monday afternoon. Columbus State improves to 8-4 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 5-5 on the season.

DOUBLES

- Luka Brown and Hugo Nossler cruised to a 6-0 win at one doubles
- The Cougars won 6-4 at two and three doubles to take a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Florian Walcher rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win at three singles
- Edis Nokic rallied for a 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 victory at five singles
- Federico Spinetta prevailed 6-1, 6-4 at six singles
- CSU won three-set matches at two and four singles to preserve the victory
