Wingate, N.C.----The 29th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs won four of the six singles matches Monday afternoon, prevailing 4-3 over #10 Columbus State University in NCAA Division II women's tennis action. Wingate improves to 8-1 overall, while the Cougars fall to 7-5 on the season.

DOUBLES

- Chloe Kosmrlj teamed with Daniela Kotara for a 6-4 win at two doubles
- CSU won 6-3 at one doubles and 6-4 at three doubles to take a 1-0 lead to singles play

SINGLES

- Eva Siska won 7-5, 6-4 at one singles
- Kosmrlj rolled to a 6-2, 6-2 victory at two singles
- Suzuka Sambyakugari prevailed 6-4, 6-3 at three singles
- Claudia Vallejos rallied for a 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 win at five singles
