#10 Wingate pushes winning streak to 19 with doubleheader sweep at Catawba

Salisbury, N.C.----The 10th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs got more dominant pitching Wednesday afternoon, sweeping a doubleheader at Catawba College in South Atlantic Conference softball action. The Bulldogs won the opener 5-1, while prevailing 6-0 in game two to improve to 39-6 overall and 17-1 in the SAC. The Indians fall to 19-23 overall and 7-11 in league play. The Bulldogs have won 19 straight while allowing just one run over the last six contests, notching five shutouts.
