Hickory, N.C.----The second-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears scored with 54 seconds remaining in the second overtime Wednesday evening, prevailing 11-10 over #6 Wingate University in the semifinals of the South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse tournament. The Bears improve to 14-1 overall, while the 'Dogs fall to 11-5 on the season.

SECOND PERIOD
- Grant's goal midway through the frame gave the Bulldogs a 4-2 lead
THIRD PERIOD
- Moran scored three minutes into the second half, pushing the Wingate lead to three
- LR scored the next four goals, taking a 6-5 lead on a Jonathan Bender goal at the 7:01 mark
- Moran had the answer less than a minute later to tie it at seven
- Moran scored off a Grieco assist with four minutes left to put the 'Dogs back on top
- McMahon scored off Grieco's assist with 2:40 to go, giving Wingate an 8-6 advantage
FOURTH PERIOD
- Donovan Powell scored less than two minutes into the final frame to cut the lead to one
- Spence answered at the 11:14 mark to make it 9-7
- The Bears scored the next three, taking a 10-9 lead on Duncan's goal with 4:21 to go
- Spence had the answer 40 seconds later, scoring off a McMahon assist to tie it at 10
OVERTIME
- Sullivan came up with a save in the opening minute
- McMahon and Grieco got shots off, but both were off target
- Clark's shot at the buzzer was saved
