Anderson, S.C.----The #16 Wingate University Bulldogs trimmed a four-goal fourth-quarter deficit to one Saturday afternoon, but the Anderson University Trojans held on for a 16-15 victory in South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse action. Anderson moves to 12-2 overall and 7-1 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 11-4 overall and 8-1 in league play. The loss snaps Wingate's 25-game SAC winning streak, the second-longest in league history.

- Jillian LaBelle gave Anderson a 2-1 lead with a goal at the 8:35 mark
- Fuchs and Watson scored in a 30-second span to give Wingate a 3-2 avantage
- Anderson scored the next three, taking a 5-3 lead on a Rayne Dobson goal at the 3:29 mark
- Fuchs scored a minute later, cutting the lead to one
SECOND QUARTER
- Anderson struck three times in the first three minutes, taking a 9-4 lead on a Sophia Santagata goal
- Goals from Fuchs and Watson cut the lead to three at the 7:17 mark
- Ava Skeffington made it 10-6 with a goal with 4:55 to go
- Wilgeroth's goal at the 2:12 mark made it a three-goal game heading to halftime
THIRD QUARTER
- Watson scored a minute in to make it 10-8
- Santagata answered to push the lead back to three with 11:10 to go
- Blakely and Wilgeroth scored in a 62-second span to pull the 'Dogs within one at 11-10
- The Trojans scored the last three goals of the frame, taking a 14-10 lead on a Skeffington goal
FOURTH QUARTER
- Magill scored at the 13:20 mark to trim the lead to three
- Wilgeroth added a goal two minutes later to make it 14-12
- Dobson scored at the 8:50 mark to give Anderson a 15-12 lead
- Watson scored off a Knowles assist to cut the lead to two with 7:46 to go
- Skeffington answered 40 seconds later, making it 16-13
- Knowles scored at the 4:13 mark to pull Wingate back within two
- Wilgeroth's goal with 1:41 remaining made it 16-15
- Koroly forced a turnover to give WU the ball back with 46 seconds left
- The 'Dogs turned it back over 10 seconds later
- Koroly forced another turnover with seven seconds remaining, but the Bulldogs were unable to get a shot off
