Hartsville, S.C.----Breon Ishmael led off the bottom of the 10th inning with a walk-off solo homer to right Saturday evening, giving the Bulldogs a 5-4 victory over Coker University on day two of the 2024 South Atlantic Conference baseball tournament. Wingate stays alive in tourney play to take on Carson-Newman Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. (

FOURTH INNING
- Coker cut the lead in half on a Jacob Yarberry RBI single
FIFTH INNING
- A three-run double from Kody Hana gave the Cobras a 4-2 advantage
- Barnett crushed a solo shot in the bottom of the frame to cut the lead to one
SIXTH INNING
- Dansky led off the frame with a single, then moved to second on Clark's groundout
- He scored the tying run on another Courville RBI single
TENTH INNING
- Ishmael crushed the second pitch of the inning over the fence in right to end it
WRAPUP
- Velazquez got the win, working out of a jam in the top of the 10th, working one-third of an inning
- Tyler Satterley took the loss, allowing a run on two hits in 1 2/3 innings of work
UP NEXT
- Wingate will face Carson-Newman in an elimination game Saturday night at 8:30 p.m.
- The winner advances to take on Newberry Sunday
- The advancing team will need to defeat Newberry twice Sunday to advance to the championship series
