Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs opened league play in style Tuesday night, cruising to a 3-0 victory against Catawba College in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 25-13, 25-16 and 27-25 to move to 8-1 overall and 1-0 in the SAC. The Indians fall to 1-6 overall and 0-1 in league play.
