Baptista Filipe strikes late to give ‘Dogs 3-2 win at Limestone in SAC opener

Box Score Gaffney, S.C.----Manu Baptista Filipe scored in the 82nd minute Saturday evening, giving the Wingate University Bulldogs a 3-2 victory at Limestone University in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action. Wingate improves to 2-0-2 overall and 1-0 in the SAC, while the Saints fall to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in league play.

SECOND HALF

- Wingate nearly took the lead in the 76th minute when Cowley's shot from the top of the box went off the post
- The Bulldogs took the lead in the 82nd minute, starting with a Katie Ensalaco corner kick
- Cowley got it in the box, sending it to the far post, where Baptista Filipe was there to net the winner
