Jefferson City, Tenn.----The Carson-Newman University Eagles outscored visiting Wingate University 34-13 in the third quarter Saturday afternoon en route to an 88-54 victory in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. The Eagles improve to 13-4 overall and 10-3 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 10-5 overall and 9-3 in league play.
