Charlotte, N.C.----Wingate University senior Natalia Dwojak won two individual events, leading the Bulldogs to a 132-130 victory over Queens University of Charlotte in the Levine Center Friday afternoon. With the thrilling victory, the visiting Bulldogs collect their first dual meet triumph against the host Royals.
 
Dwojak touched first in the 100 Breaststroke (1:03.80) and the 50 Freestyle (24.04). She earned two silver medals in the 200 Medley and the 200 Freestyle Relay events. Senior Nina Azirovic won the 200 Freestyle (1:54.71), while the Bulldog distance specialists swept the 1000 and the 500 Freestyle events.
 
Junior Grace Wilson won the 1000 Freestyle (10:34.53), while senior Guilianna Garcia won the 500 Freestyle (5:09.25). Wilson claimed the silver medal in the 500 Freestyle (5:12.50), while Garcia picked up a bronze medal in the 200 Butterfly (2:07.27).
 
On the afternoon, Wingate collected five gold medals, 11 silver medals and nine bronze medals. Freshman Nisa Gul Serdar earned two silver medals and one bronze medal. She finished second in the 200 Butterfly (2:06.69) and the 200 Individual Medley (2:06.28) and finished third in the 100 Freestyle (53.56).
