Greenwood, S.C.----The eighth-ranked Lander University Bearcats got a goal with under seven minutes remaining in regulation Saturday afternoon, prevailing 1-0 against visiting Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action. Lander improves to 9-3 overall and 6-3 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 7-5 overall and 4-4 in league play.
