Wilson, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs and Barton College Bulldogs combined for 25 his and 26 runs Tuesday afternoon, with Barton prevailing 15-11 in NCAA Division II baseball action. Barton improves to 10-7 overall, while Wingate falls to 5-9 on the year.

- Wingate scored eight runs in the fourth to take an 11-8 advantage
- Sullivan led off the inning with a solo homer to make it 8-4
- Scheffler followed with a double, then scord on Meyer's RBI single
- An RBI single plated Barefoot to make it a two-run game
- Evans added an RBI single to drive home Meyer and bring WU within a run
- A Harris sacrifice fly tied it at eight
- Sullivan blasted his second homer of the inning to give the 'Dogs a three-run lead
- An RBI groundout from Staz in the bottom of the frame cut the lead to two

FIFTH INNING

- Barton scored three times in the fifth to regain the lead
- A sacrifice fly from Luis Sauri brought BC within a run
- Waddell's two-run single gave Barton a 12-11 advantage

SEVENTH INNING

- Sauri's RBI single in the seventh extended the lead to two

EIGHTH INNING

- An Anthony Crudo sacrifice fly and Diaz RBI single made the final margin 15-11

WRAPUP
