Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs scored nine runs in the third inning Tuesday afternoon, rolling to a 14-3 victory over Belmont Abbey College in NCAA Division II baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. The Bulldogs improve to 17-17 overall, while the Crusaders fall to 24-12 on the season.

- Scheffler's two-run double, followed by a Harris two-run double made it 5-1
- A Farrell single and Barefoot walk loaded the bases again
- Evans gave WU a six-run lead with a two-run single
