Wingate, N.C.----The ninth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs trimmed a six-goal deficit to one Saturday afternoon, but #10 Anderson University was able to hang on for a 15-13 victory in South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. Anderson improves to 10-3 overall and 7-1 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 10-3 overall and 5-3 in league play.

- Spence struck twice in the final minute to cut the halftime lead to four
THIRD PERIOD
- A Ryan Bitterman goal with eight minutes left gave Anderson a 10-4 advantage
- Clark and Moran scored in a 26-second span, both coming off Spence assists to make it 10-6
- Rodgers scored at the 2:06 mark to make it 11-6
FOURTH PERIOD
- Goss scored off a Spence assist 95 seconds in to start the scoring in the final frame
- A Brayden Bushnoe goal gave the Trojans a 13-7 lead with 10 minutes left
- Wingate scored the next five to make it a one-goal game
- Rupprecht started the flurry by winning the face-off and scoring five seconds after the AU goal
- Butrico scored at the 8:53 mark, while Moran's goal off a Goss assist with 6:19 left made it 13-10
