Wingate claims weekend series against Limestone with doubleheader split

Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs claimed the weekend series against Limestone University Saturday afternoon in South Atlantic Conference baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. Wingate won the opener 9-2, while Limestone prevailed 5-3 in game two. The Bulldogs move to 23-22 overall and 13-14 in the SAC, while the Saints go to 22-23 overall and 14-13 in league play.
