What They Are Saying
SAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year
JD Lamm
"The ladies had another great tournament this week, playing some fantastic golf. They deserved to take home the title. Each student-athlete played a huge part of the success this week…I am proud of them all. It is a privilege to win my first SAC title as a coach this week. I look forward to trying to do the same with the men's team next week! The ladies can now rest for a few days after a good stretch of tournaments, prepare and be ready to compete at regionals at the start of next month!"

A nice stretch of three weeks-plus awaits Wingate, giving them time to recoup and prepare for the NCAA South Region tournament, which takes place on May 5-7 in Gainesville, Georgia. The University of North Georgia is hosting the event at the Chattahoochee Golf Club. Wingate's Tuesday triumph gives the 'Dogs an automatic qualification (AQ) for the 54-hole event.
