Florence, S.C.----The top-seeded and third-ranked Francis Marion University Patriots prevailed 7-0 against fourth-seeded Wingate University Saturday afternoon, punching their ticket to the NCAA Division II softball Southeast Regional finals. The Patriots improve to 52-4 overall, while Wingate ends its season at 39-23.
