Tampa, Fla.----The top-ranked University of Tampa Spartans remained unbeaten on the year Sunday afternoon, prevailing 13-9 against #6 Wingate University in the national quarterfinals of the 2025 NCAA Division II men's lacrosse tournament. Tampa improves to 20-0 overall, advancing to the national semifinals next weekend, while the Bulldogs end their season at 15-5.

- Goss scored off a Moran assist with 11:37 to go, putting the 'Dogs on top 3-2
- Ronan Sanchez answered with a goal for Tampa to tie it at three
- Clark scored off a Goss assist to put Wingate back on top with 10 minutes left
- Ryan Kemp and Jackson Bashaw scored in a one-minute span, putting UT on top 5-4

THIRD PERIOD

- Spence answered with a goal a minute later, making it 10-8
- Zach Johnson's goal at the 10:29 mark gave Tampa a 12-8 lead
- Grant's goal with 8:12 remaining cut the lead to three
