Pembroke, N.C.----The #19 Wingate University rolled to a pair of sweeps Friday afternoon on day one of the UNC Pembroke Invitational. The 'Dogs started the day by rolling to an impressive 3-0 victory over Eckerd, while capping the day by sweeping Virginia State. The Bulldogs took down the Tritons 25-19, 25-12, 28-26, while prevailing 25-13, 25-18, 25-14 over Virginia State.
