Greeneville, Tenn.----The Wingate University Bulldogs opened league play in style, rolling to a 4-1 victory at Tusculum University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action Saturday afternoon. Wingate moves to 1-3 overall and 1-0 in the SAC, while the Pioneers fall to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in league play.

- Tusculum cut the lead in half eight minutes into the second half
- Mason Clark scored off a Hugo Le Floch assist to make it a one-goal game
- The 'Dogs answered less than five minutes later to stretch the lead back to two
- Gunnar's second goal of the day came of Curto's second assist, making it 3-1
- The Bulldogs capped the scoring in the 81st minute
- Lemke converted a penalty kick to make the final margin 4-1
