Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs and #23 Lenoir-Rhyne Bears concluded their game that began Saturday evening, with the Bears prevailing 1-0 in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action at Pride Park. The contest began Saturday evening, but early in the second half the game was halted due to a lightning delay that lasted over two hours. LR improves to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 3-3 on the season and 0-2 in league play.
