Dahlonega, Ga.----The Wingate University Bulldogs held a 3-2 halftime lead at #12 North Georgia Thursday evening, but the Nighthawks struck twice in the second half to prevail 4-3 in NCAA Division II women's soccer action. UNG starts the season 1-0, while the Bulldogs fall to 0-1.

- Maino netted the equalizer in the 21st minute
- North Georgia regained the lead four minutes later on a Grace McGill goal
- Browder converted a penalty kick in the 28th minute to make it 2-2
- Ensalaco scored two minutes later off an assist from Maino and Agelis to give WU a 3-2 lead
SECOND HALF
- Nina Lopez scored in the 60th minute to tie it at three
- Sarah Woodall gave UNG the 4-3 advantage with 22 minutes to go
