Greeneville, Tenn.----The Wingate University Bulldogs finished off the season sweep over Tusculum University Friday afternoon, prevailing 68-60 on the road in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. The Bulldogs improve to 14-6 overall and 9-5 in the SAC, winning nine of their last 10. The Pioneers fall to 2-18 overall and 2-12 in league play.

- Shorma's triple gave the 'Dogs an early 5-0 lead

- Two Harris free throws and a Montiel layup in the final minute gave the Bulldogs a 17-11 lead
SECOND QUARTER
- Two Isaac free throws and a Bacon three put the 'Dogs on top 23-11 at the 7:17 mark
- TU scored eight of the next nine, with an Ema Nagyova three at the 3:20 mark making it 24-19
- Buckets from Shorma and Bacon gave Wingate a seven-point cushion with 2:21 left
- Bacon's layup with a minute to go made it 30-21
- A Hughes layup with 25 seconds remaining gave the Bulldogs a 32-23 halftime advantage
THIRD QUARTER
- Layups from Shorma and Bacon gave Wingate a 36-23 lead a minute into the second half
- Tusculum scored the next seven, with an Angela Gomez jumper at the 6:48 mark making it 36-30
- A Douglas layup with 4:37 to go pulled the Pioneers within one
- Beale's triple gave the 'Dogs a 41-37 lead
- A Martina Garofalo jumper at the 1:31 mark tied it at 41
- Hughes knocked down a three with five seconds left, giving Wingate a 46-41 lead
FOURTH QUARTER
- Montiel's layup stretched the lead to seven in the opening minute of the fourth quarter
- A Shorma triple at the 6:21 mark put the 'Dogs on top 55-47
- Buckets from Bacon and Isaac extended the lead to 10 with 3:34 to go
- A Nagyova three cut it to seven, but Isaac buried another triple to make it 62-52
- Another Nagyova triple pulled the Pioneers back within five with 52 seconds remaining
- Montiel made two free throws to push it back to seven
- Garofalo answered with two free throws with 31 seconds left, making it 65-60
