Anderson, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs picked up their second conference win of the season Saturday afternoon, prevailing 63-58 at Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. The Bulldogs improve to 7-5 overall and 2-4 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 5-7 overall and 1-5 in league play.

THIRD QUARTER
- Wingate opened the second half with a 12-0 run to take a 37-24 lead at the 7:47 mark
- Bacon had seven points in the flurry that gave the 'Dogs a 13-point cushion
- A Kyla Cain layup cut the lead to eight at the midway point of the quarter
- Shorma's triple with 4:20 remaining stretched it back to 11 at 44-33
- AU scored the next six, making it 44-39 on a Hill layup with three minutes left
- Two Harris free throws with 14 seconds to go pulled the Trojans within two
FOURTH QUARTER
- Two Harris buckets helped Wingate take a 53-48 lead at the 7:23 mark
