Wingate, N.C.---The Wingate University Bulldogs scored double-digit runs for the seventh time this season, cruising to a 15-4 victory over the University of Findlay Tuesday afternoon at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. Wingate moves to 7-4 overall, while the Oilers fall to 1-3.

- Karpowicz was hit by a pitch to make it 4-2
- Courville's two-run double stretched the lead to four
- Barham's two-run single gave Wingate an 8-2 cushion
FOURTH INNING
- Nick Palmer's RBI single cut the lead to five
- Wingate answered with three more in the bottom of the frame
- A Sullivan single and McCammon walk started the inning
- Karpowicz unloaded on a three-run shot to left center to make it 11-3
SEVENTH INNING
- Gavin Smith's solo shot made it a seven-run game in the top of the inning
- Farrell singled to start the bottom of the frame, then stole second
- He scored on a pickoff play to make it 12-4
EIGHTH INNING
- McCammon started the inning with a double
- Dixon followed with a two-run shot to right to stretch the lead to 10
- A Goff single and St. John double put 'Dogs on second and third
- Farrell's RBI groundout made the final margin 15-4
WRAPUP
- Nelson got the win, moving to 1-0 on the year
- He allowed two runs on three hits in three innings of work, striking out five
- Blake Coleman took the loss, allowing five runs on two hits in one-third of an inning
