Hickory, N.C.----The 11th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears picked up a 16-10 victory over third-ranked Wingate University in NCAA Division II men's lacrosse action Wednesday night. The Bears improve to 5-3 overall, while the 'Dogs fall to 7-2 on the season. The Bulldogs defeated LR 14-10 earlier this month in the conference contest at the Crown Classic in Charlotte.

- Clark scored twice in a 50-second span, with Murray assisting on the second goal
- Moran's goal at the 6:34 mark gave the 'Dogs a 3-1 advantage
- LR scored the final three goals of the frame
- Donovan Powell's goal with four seconds left gave the Bears a 4-3 lead
SECOND PERIOD
- Clark scored off a Spence assist two minutes into the second to tie it at four
- Morgan Madish answered a minute later to put the Bears back on top
- Goss scored off a Spence assist with six minutes left, tying it at five
- Lenoir-Rhyne scored the final five goals of the half
- Jarrett Huff capped the spurt with a goal at the 2:53 mark, making it 10-5
THIRD PERIOD
- Grant scored off a Spence assist in the opening minute of the second half
- Moran's goal with 12 minutes left made it 11-7
- Butrico scored back-to-back goals to pull the 'Dogs within two at the 7:03 mark
- Madish and Powell scored in the final five minutes to give the Bears a 14-9 advantage
FOURTH PERIOD
- Owen Scott scored at the 6:56 mark to make it 15-9
- Eli Busse's goal 31 seconds later stretched the lead to seven
- Weisbrod scored off Clark's assist with 1:58 remaining to cap the scoring
