Bulldogs blank Mount St. Mary’s in Conference Carolinas Tournament opener

Durham, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs opened postseason play in style, shutting out Mount St. Mary's 31-0 in the quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Flag Football tournament Friday afternoon. The Bulldogs improve to 9-2 overall, while Mount St. Mary's falls to 7-11 on the year.

- Wingate had 160 passing yards and 111 rushing yards for 271 yards of offense
- Mount St. Mary's accumulated 158 passing yards and 71 rushing yards for 229 total yards
