Greenville, S.C.----The No. 5 Wingate University men's golf team capped off a dominant week at the South Atlantic Conference championship, sweeping through match play to secure the SAC title inside The Preserve at Verdae layout Tuesday.
After winning the stroke play portion by nine shots, the Bulldogs carried that momentum into match play, defeating Anderson 4.5-0.5 in the semifinals before closing out the championship with a commanding 5-0 victory over No. 16 Lincoln Memorial in the final.
