Wingate, N.C.----The fourth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs took down their fourth top-11 conference opponent Wednesday night, holding #10 Catawba to a season-low six goals in a 14-6 victory on the final day of the South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse regular season at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. The 'Dogs finish the season 12-2 overall and 9-0 in the SAC, while the Indians fall to 11-3 overall and 6-3 in league play.

- Stechmiller pulled Catawba back within two with a goal at the 10:38 mark
- Moran scored off Grant's assist with 8:55 to go
- Tanner Stout made it a two-goal game at the 4:33 mark
- Kier McKnight scored in the final second, making it 5-4 at halftime
THIRD PERIOD
- Grant scored off a Spence assist in the opening minute
- Michael Lindsey pulled the Indians back within one with a goal at the 10:33 mark
- Cifreo scored two minutes later off a Spence assist to make it 7-5
- Stechmiller scored with 2:58 remaining to cut the lead back to one
- The 'Dogs would score the game's final seven goals
