Columbus, Ga.----The sixth-seeded Wingate University Bulldogs won the doubles point Friday afternoon against third-seeded Flagler College, but the Saints picked up four singles victories en route to a 4-2 victory in the opening round of the NCAA Division II women's tennis southeast regional.

Honomi Wantanbe rolled to a 6-0 win at two doubles
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into singles play
SINGLES
- Flagler picked up wins at one and four singles to take a 2-1 lead in the match
- Castillo prevailed 6-3, 6-4 at three singles to make it 2-2
- The Saints won at five and six singles to secure the victory
- Oktiabreva won set one 6-4 at two singles and was in set three when the match was clinched
