Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University athletic department will induct nine new members into the Spots Hall of Fame next month. The festivities will take place Friday, Sept. 18, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the newest class of Bulldog legends at the annual Wingate University Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner. This signature event honors the student-athletes, coaches, and leaders whose talent, dedication, and character have shaped Wingate Athletics.
The evening begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m. in the Crowder Welcome Center, where guests can enjoy beer, wine, and mocktails at a cash bar before dinner. Guests will then make the short walk across Wilson Street to LaVerne Banquet Hall, where a plated dinner and the formal induction program begins at 6:30 p.m.

The evening will also honor the 2016 men's soccer team, the first NCAA Division II national champions in Wingate and SAC history, as this year's Team of Distinction.
