Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs registered an opening-night shutout Thursday evening, prevailing 1-0 against visiting Barton College in NCAA Division II women's soccer action at Pride Park. The 'Dogs start the season 1-0, while Barton falls to 0-1.
