Wingate, N.C.----The Converse University Valkyries scored the lone goal of the contest late in the second quarter Saturday afternoon en route to a 1-0 victory at Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action at Graham Gill Field. Converse improves to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in league play.
