2009: Started all 16 games during his junior season. Switched from attack to midfield early in the season. Recorded career highs in goals, assists, points, shots, and ground balls. Tied career best with 4 points and 2 assists vs. Rollins. Set career best with 5 ground balls vs. Rollins. Member of the conference academic honor roll for third straight year.

2008: Played in 8 games with 4 starts. Scored 1 goal and had 2 assists. Member of conference honor roll.

2007: Appeared in 8 games and had 1 start. Scored a career high 12 goals and had 1 assist for 13 points. Earned a spot on the conference honor roll.

2006: Missed season due to injury.

High School: Led his area in goals, assists, and points his senior season playing for his father Bill Derbyshire at Catoctin High School. Named all-county and all-conference as a junior and a senior, he earned 1st team honors on both teams his senior season.
