Biography
2011: Danny Dlugozima started every game for the Bulldogs in 2011 and was named second team all-conference. He had a career-best save percentage of 56 percent on the season. Dlugozima was voted the team MVP by his teammates. He had a career best nine ground balls against Mars Hill. He holds career ranks of 10th in ground balls, fourth in saves, fifth in save percentage, third in goals against average,second in minutes played, and fourth in wins.
2010: Dlugozima was an honorable mention all-conference selection in his first full year as the starter in goal. His 168 saves were the sixth best in Wingate history. He finished second on the team with 55 ground balls. He had a career-best 21 saves vs. Belmont Abbey.
2009: Dlugozima played in 15 games, starting the final nine. He had a record of 7-3. Dlugozima made 105 saves with a 54% save percentage and a goals against average of 8.91. He was fourth on the team with 37 ground balls.
High School: Danny played for Coach
Tom Fitzsimons at Wesley Chapel High School. Four time member of all-league team and three time team captain. Named the WFLL Goalie of the Year in 2008. Awarded team’s most outstanding player as a junior and senior. High school teammate of fellow Bulldog
