2009: Dusty White is entering his senior season for the Wingate Bulldogs. He was tied for most wins in 2009. He was second in innings pitched and starts. White pitched 49.1 innings last season including a season-high seven against Newberry. White was third on the club in strikeouts and fourth in appearances with 37 and 10 respectively. White has excelled in the classroom, being named to the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll every semester at Wingate. Being involved in campus activities is important to Dusty. He was involved with the Student Athlete Advisory committee for two years.

2008: White led the Bulldogs with five wins, 82.0 innings pitched, 53 strikeouts and 12 games started in the 2008 season. He had a 4.61 ERA on the year. White allowed two runs in seven innings while striking out nine to get the win at Nova Southeastern. He went the distance against Mars Hill, allowing one earned run while striking out eight to earn the win. White followed that up with another complete game at Newberry, allowing two runs while earning the victory.

Personal: At Charlotte –2006: White lasted one inning in his only collegiate outing, allowing two hits and two walks, with one strikeout in Charlotte's 11-3 win vs. Indiana on Feb. 24. He was named to the Dean's List in the Fall of 2005.

High School: White was the captain of the Hopewell High School baseball team his senior year. He was also the team’s Most Valuable Player. White was an all-conference selection his junior and senior year, and was an all-state performer his senior year. White led the team in wins and batting average his senior season. Born on April 17, 1987, Dusty is the son of James and Freda White. He is a Communications major.
