2010: Charles Wolfe appeared in four games in his first season at Wingate, working 5 2/3 innings on the season. He went three innings in his debut against Erskine, striking out three while allowing three runs.

Personal: In 2007 Wolfe was named MVP for his Sanderson High School team as a sophomore. Under head Coach Todd Laughlin, Wolfe was named Wake County Player of the Year in 2009. Wolfe was a three time member of the All-Conference team from 2007-2009. He also earned All-state accolades in 2009. Offensively, Charles led the team in batting average in 2007 and 2009, with a .440 batting average in 2009. On the mound he also led the team in earned run average as well as wins in 2008 and 2009. Wolfe helped Sanderson High School to an Eastern Regional Championship in 2009 and Conference champs in 2008. Charles Wolfe is the son of Chuck and Mary Wolfe.
