2009: Stormi Gale became the first player in SAC history to earn first team All-American honors in 2009, earning the honor from Daktronics. She was also an AVCA third team All-American. Gale was the South Atlantic Conference and Southeast Region Player of the Year, while earning first team all-conference and all-region honors. She led the SAC with 3.81 kills per set, while ranking second with a .298 hitting percentage. Gale led the Bulldogs with 0.75 blocks per set, ranked second with 43 aces and fifth with 2.29 digs per set. She had 10 double-doubles on the season, while racking up double-digit kills in 26 of her 37 matches. Her 17 kills, 10 digs and five blocks led the Bulldogs back from a 2-0 deficit against Flagler. She had 22 kills, 11 digs and five blocks against three-time national champion Barry. Gale had 22 kills and 17 digs against Newberry, followed by a 17 kill, seven dig, five block performance against Carson-Newman. She followed that with a career-high 24 kills to go along with 14 digs against Lincoln Memorial. Gale had 17 kills with a .615 hitting percentage against Pfeiffer. In the final two regular season matches against Carson-Newman and Lincoln Memorial, she piled up a total of 40 kills, 20 digs and seven blocks. Gale collected a double-double with 18 kills and 10 digs in the SAC championship match, while notching 16 kills and 13 digs in the regional finals against Flagler.
2008: Stormi Gale was a First Team All-SAC and All-Region selection in her sophomore year, while earning MVP honors at the Food Lion SAC Tournament. She was also an Honorable Mention All-American. Gale led the team and was in the top five in the SAC with 3.57 kills per set, 0.86 blocks per set and a .319 hitting percentage. She was third on the team with 34 aces and fourth with 2.40 digs per set. She had double-digit kills in 20 matches on the year while racking up 10 double-doubles. Gale had 19 kills and 17 digs against Lander. She had 18 kills and 13 digs against Francis Marion. She had 12 or more kills seven consecutive matches, starting with her 15-kill performance against UNC Pembroke. Gale had 16 kills, 14 digs and six blocks at Catawba. In the three SAC Tournament matches, she had 48 kills, 28 digs, 16 blocks and hit .448.
2007: Gale was a first team All-SAC selection, while also being named the SAC Freshman of the Year. She was also an all-state selection. Gale led the Bulldogs and was eighth in the SAC with 3.47 kills per game. She was fifth in the conference with a .310 hitting percentage, while ranking second in the league with .53 aces per game and third with 1.26 blocks per game. Gale had 22 matches with double-digit kills, including reaching double-digits in her final 13 matches of the season. Gale notched her first double-double against UNCP in September, with 12 kills and 11 digs. She racked up 23 kills while hitting .645 against Brevard. Gale registered 12 kills and 20 digs in back-to-back conference matches, first in a 3-1 win over Lincoln Memorial, followed by a 3-2 win over Tusculum, where she added 11 blocks to secure her first triple-double. She tallied double-doubles in her final two matches of the year, with 13 kills and 12 digs in the SAC title game and 15 kills and 10 digs in the NCAA Tournament.
High School:
As a co-captain with fellow Wingate signee Heather Myklebust, Gale helped lead her Fort Bend Austin HS team to a 5A Houston Area district title. Gale was an honorable mention All-State selection.
Gale played club volleyball for Club Texas. Gale’s Club Texas team was number one in Texas in both 16-and-under and the 17-and-under divisions. In addition, Club Texas finished in the top 20 nationally in the open division at Junior Olympics in 2005 and 2006. Gale was selected GCVA Beach Volleyball Player of the Year. She was also a member of the USA Lone Star High Performance Team.

Impressively, each year she has worked hard to improve her game, her conditioning, and her leadership and continues to develop as an elite player. She is also an outstanding student, and plans to enroll in Pharmacy School next year.”
