Biography

Perry Floyd had two catches for 56 yards and one touchdown in 2008. In a home victory over Lenoir-Rhyne, Floyd snagged a 41-yard TD reception. A steady kick-off returner, he had 10 returns for 199 yards last season. In 2007, Floyd averaged 17 yards per kick return and 8.5 yards per punt return. At Tusculum, he returned two kick-offs for 34 yards and three punts for 33 yards. During the 2007 season, Floyd rushed four times for 11 yards. He was a member of the football, wrestling, track and baseball teams at Forestview. Floyd was All-Gazette and All-Conference for the football Jaguars. In wrestling, he was All-Region and All-Conference and a champion in both the region and the conference. Floyd was the co-MVP of the Gaston County track meet. Perry Floyd is the son of Perry Floyd, Sr. and Trudy Floyd.
