Wingate University Athletics

Liz Kinney participated in all 18 Wingate matches during her sophomore campaign in the blue-and-gold. Kinney tallied 8 goals and four assists, and her 20 points were the second highest total on the team. 

Kinney has played club soccer for CESA under the guidance of legendary coach Carlos Osorio. At James F. Byrnes High School, Kinney re-wrote the record books. She holds numerous marks, including the record for career goals (69). A two-time All-Region choice, Kinney was named team offensive MVP twice and team all-around MVP once during her Byrnes career. A senior co-captain, Kinney also earned high marks in the classroom as an Honor Roll member.
Liz is the daughter of David and Anne Kinney.
