Biography
Julie Zielinski started all 18 matches for the Bulldogs during her sophomore season in 2009. The midfielder notched three goals and three assists, including the lone goal in a 1-0 win over UNC Pembroke on September 22nd.
A SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student, Zielinski was a team captain her senior season at McDowell High School. She helped her high school team to four consecutive district titles. Zielinski was also a member of the track and field team. She earned both the Coach’s MVP and Scholar Athlete Award at McDowell. Zielinski was a four-year starter at McDowell. She was a member of Pennsylvania West ODP from 2001-04. Julie is the daughter of Robert and Jean Zielinski.
