Biography
2009-10: CC Brooks was second on the Wingate team charts with her 8.8 points per game. She saw action in 26 contests with six starting nods. Brooks averaged 10 points per game in the six starts. She tallied a season-high 20 points at USC Aiken (Nov. 30). Brooks hit double-figure points 11 times. Her SAC season high was 18 points at Lincoln Memorial (Feb. 1). Brooks averaged 2.5 rebounds per game and 2.3 assists per game as a junior. Her 38 steals topped the 2009-10 Bulldog charts. Brooks was fifth on the team in field goal percentage (40.7).
2008-09: CC Brooks was third on the Bulldog charts with 9.2 points per game. She hit double-figures 13 times, including a season-high 23 markers in a wild 84-75 overtime victory over SAC rival Mars Hill (Jan. 21). Brooks made seven-of-10 field goals and nine-of-11 free throws in the win over the Lions. She was second on the Wingate charts with her 47 steals. Brooks tallied five thefts in the MHC victory. She got to the foul line 127 times, third on the team to Anna Atkinson and Kurie Washington. Brooks had 16 points in a 99-90 SAC triumph at Carson-Newman (Feb. 28).
2007-08: CC Brooks appeared in 33 games in her freshman season with the Bulldogs. She averaged 6.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. Brooks scored in double figures nine times on the year. She had a career-high 15 points against Augusta State in the Sweet Sixteen. Brooks had 11 points on four-of-five shooting against Brevard, followed by another 11-point performance at Mars Hill where she went four-of-six from the field. She had 12 points against Georgia College & State, going six-of-seven from the free throw line.
High School: CC Brooks was a two-year captain of the East Gaston basketball team. She was the team MVP and a four-time all-conference performer. Brooks led East Gaston to the 2007 Big South Conference title her senior season. She led the team with 15 points per game, and is East Gaston’s all-time leader in points scored. Brooks was born on October 22, 1988. CC is the daughter of Andrew and Cindy Brooks.
