Biography

Sean Jones is a valuable member of the Wingate special teams. In 2010, he had two kick returns for 19 yards. In 11 games, he posted nine tackles. Jones had two tackles in the NCAA play-off victory over Morehouse (Nov. 20, 2010). In 2009, Jones returned two kicks and recorded five tackles. He saw action in 11 of 11 games during the 2008 campaign. He was a redshirt in 2007.

Jones was a member of the football and basketball teams at West Henderson High School. A two-year football team captain for the Falcons, Jones was an all-conference selection following his junior and senior seasons. He was an A/B Honor Roll student during his time at West Henderson. Sean is the son of Chuck and Lynn Jones.
