Biography

Micah Newman did not play in 2010, utilizing a redshirt season. Newman joined the Wingate family from nearby Independence High School. As a senior, Newman caught 23 passes for 210 yards for head coach Tom Knotts and the 13-2 Patriots team. Newman was also a track standout in high school, specializing in the 400 meter dash. He is the son of Henry and Kelly Williams.
